Social Tables pricing: what it actually costs

“What does Social Tables cost?” is a surprisingly hard question to answer from the outside, which is exactly why I'm answering it. I'm Daniel Pitner — Director of Sales at EventDiagram, twelve-plus years in the event industry, and yes, I sell a competitor, which is disclosed properly at the bottom. Social Tables is now Cvent Event Diagramming — Cvent acquired it in 2018 and renamed it — and while Cvent does publish tier pricing for it, the numbers, the limits attached to them, and the commitment they require deserve a plain-English walkthrough. Everything below is from Cvent's public pricing materials as of August 28, 2026; if it changes, I'll update this post and the date.

The published tiers

• Free — $0. The entry tier for trying the product.
• Standard — $49/month. Includes 15 events per year and one user.
• Pro — $150/month. Raises the limit to 50 events per year and adds advanced diagramming capabilities.
• Premium — $320/month. Unlimited events, diagrams, and attendees.
• Enterprise — custom. Custom user counts, floor-plan services, registration integration, 3D, training, and add-ons, priced by sales conversation.

The line that matters as much as any number: paid plans require a 12-month commitment. The monthly figures above are the billing cadence, not the exit option — signing up for Standard is, practically speaking, a $588-minimum decision, Pro is $1,800, Premium is $3,840.

The math that matters: cost per event, per person who can edit

List price is the wrong lens for diagramming software; cost per event and per editor is the real one. A Standard subscription used to its 15-event cap runs about $39 per event with a single licensed user. A team of three that wants everyone editing needs to solve the per-user structure — which in practice pushes real teams toward Premium or Enterprise territory before the workflow feels natural. If your organization diagrams a handful of events a year with one person driving, the entry tiers are priced reasonably. If diagramming is a weekly activity that involves a venue, a client, a caterer, and an AV partner — the normal case in events — the structure itself is what you're paying for.

What you get for it

Fairness requires saying this clearly: Cvent Event Diagramming is the category benchmark for a reason. An enormous venue library, mature collaboration, attendee management, professional floor-plan redraw services, 3D strengthened by the Prismm acquisition, and integration into the broader Cvent ecosystem of registration and sourcing. If your organization already lives inside Cvent, the bundled logic is genuinely strong.

One more input to the decision: if you're currently on Prismm (or still think of it as AllSeated), your account is being migrated into this product on a hard deadline — work through the Prismm shutdown export checklist before you commit to anything, so your data is safe wherever you land.

The questions to ask before signing

1. How many events will we actually diagram this year, and which tier's cap fits?
2. How many people need to edit — not just view — and what does that do to the price?
3. Are we comfortable with a 12-month commitment before we've run a real event in it?
4. What happens to our diagrams, templates, and room data if we leave?
5. Do we need the suite, or do we need the diagram?
