A Cvent Event Diagramming alternative with monthly pricing

Cvent Event Diagramming is what Social Tables became — and, through 2026, what Prismm users are being moved into. It's a capable product attached to a very large suite. EventDiagram is for teams that need the diagram without the suite: to-scale plans, one-click 3D, free collaborators, and billing that doesn't need a procurement department.

FAQ

Common questions

Is Cvent Event Diagramming the same as Social Tables?
Yes — Cvent acquired Social Tables in 2018 and renamed it Cvent Event Diagramming. In 2025 Cvent also acquired Prismm (formerly AllSeated) and is consolidating its users into the same product through the end of 2026.
Why would I choose an alternative instead of the market leader?
If you need Cvent's full event stack, choose Cvent — the breadth is real. Choose an alternative when the job is the diagram itself and the suite is overhead: you want faster onboarding, collaborators who don't need seats, monthly billing instead of a 12-month commitment, and pricing you can read without a sales call.
We're being moved from Prismm into Cvent Event Diagramming. Do we have another option?
Yes. Your plans are exportable, and rebuilding is the cost you're paying either way — Cvent's own materials note that Prismm templates, favorites, and object groups don't carry over automatically. EventDiagram will convert your standard room plans as part of onboarding, with a 60-day parallel-use window.
Does EventDiagram integrate with the venue systems we already use?
Open exports (PDF, image, data) work with everything today; API and webhook access ships on Venue Pro and Enterprise. Our posture is integration over replacement — keep your sales-and-catering system, use EventDiagram for the spatial workflow.
