Add the building once, then its event spaces with real dimensions and airwall sections. Everything downstream — capacities, combinations, floor plans — derives from that.
Get the dimensions right once and you never revisit them. Get them wrong and every plan built on top inherits the error.
Adding the venue
- 1Open Venues and use Add a venue by name — type the hotel, resort or conference center.
- 2Published capacity charts and floor plans are read and turned into spaces for you to review before anything is created.
- 3Or choose the manual route and enter the building yourself.
Adding event spaces
- 1Use Add space on the venue.
- 2Enter real width, depth and ceiling height — ceiling matters for rigging and for the 3D view.
- 3If it is divisible, add the airwall sections along the axis they split.
- 4Mark back-of-house areas as not bookable so they are never metered and never reach a public capacity chart.
What you get for it
My venue becomes a front door to every space and every derived combination, each ready to lay out. A property with three event spaces, one of them divisible into four, yields a dozen usable floor plans without drawing any of them twice.
