LESSON 3 OF 14 · 1:32
Organizing your work
Storage, statuses, standard setups, and finding things fast.
Transcript
0:03Once you're past a handful of bookings, finding things quickly becomes the whole game. Here's how the app is laid out for that.
0:10Events gives you your work by booking, and it opens on Upcoming — just the jobs still ahead of you.
0:16Past Events is everything that's already happened. All Events is the full history, in one list.
0:23Every column sorts — by name, by date, by how recently you touched it. And search filters as you type.
0:30Storage is those same diagrams, flattened. Sorted by what you touched last, with the booking named on every card.
0:37Now look at the top of Storage. Standard Setups.
0:41These are starred diagrams — a room's reusable house layouts. Ballroom banquet. Ballroom theater. Cypress classroom. The sets you already know work.
0:52So when a new booking comes in, you don't start from an empty room. You duplicate the standard, and attach the new event to the copy.
0:59Star any diagram to make it a standard. It's just a shortcut — a starred diagram is still an ordinary diagram, still filed in an event.
1:09And statuses tell everyone where a drawing stands, without anybody having to ask. Draft, in review, approved, final.
1:18That's the system. Events to find a booking. Storage to find a drawing. Stars for the layouts you reuse. Statuses so everyone knows what's settled.
