The object library

0:03The Objects panel is the whole catalog — tables, chairs, staging, audio-visual, bars, lounge, power. Everything that goes in a room.

0:14It's grouped into categories you can open and close, so you're not scrolling past bar equipment to find a chair.

0:20But mostly you'll just search. Type what you're after and it filters everything at once.

0:24Now here's the important bit. Some objects aren't a fixed size. A stage, a dance floor, a projection screen, an LED wall, pipe and drape, a tent — those are whatever you rented.

0:36So the palette asks for the dimensions before you place it — and it asks in feet and inches, the way you actually talk about them. Never decimal feet, never a pile of inches.

0:46A stage asks for width, depth and height, because a stage is a box you stand on.

0:51But a projection screen asks for width and height — because that's how a screen is actually sold and hung. Its depth on the plan is just its footprint on the floor.

1:01Anything you've already placed can be resized the same way, from the panel on the right.

1:06And every object carries a real physical height, whether you ever look at it or not. That's what makes the 3D walkthrough work later without re-drawing anything.

1:15Star the things you place constantly and they'll sit at the top of the panel as Favorites. Next: filling a whole room at once.
